License Plates Stolen From 2 Cars In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are looking for a suspect or suspects who stole license plates from two separate vehicles. Both incidents took place sometime between Jan. 18 and Jan. 20.

According to police, a resident in the 1100 block of Ontario reported that their license plate had been removed from the back of their car. The victim told police the license plate was likely stolen between 3 p.m. on Jan. 18 and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 19.

A second license plate was stolen between 11 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 9:31 p.m. on Jan. 20, police say. A resident in the 1300 block of N. Austin told law enforcement that a suspect or suspects had removed the rear license plate from their car.
