Lilly, Harmon to Host Town Hall Meeting in Oak Park

Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, is joining state Sen. Don Harmon, D-Oak Park, in inviting local residents to a town hall meeting where they will be available to answer questions and provide an update on their work in the Legislature and the ongoing budget negotiations.

The town hall meeting will be at the Oak Park Public Library on June 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“As we work to craft a responsible, balanced budget, it is more important than ever to connect with constituents and learn about the effect the proposed cuts would have on them,” Lilly said in a statement. “Even if it is just to listen, I encourage everyone to join us as we talk through some of the most pressing issues facing Illinois.”

This event is free and open to the public.
