Man, 81, Killed In Assault In Oak Park
The medical examiner ruled that the death of Patrick Dooley, 81, was a homicide.
OAK PARK, IL — An 81-year-old man is dead after he was assaulted Saturday evening in Oak Park. Patrick Dooley was attacked in the 100 block of N. Austin, not far from his home, according to a report from NBC.
According to NBC, Dooley was pronounced dead at approximately 8:42 p.m. An autopsy concluded that his death was the result of "multiple injuries" and was ruled a homicide.
Oak Park Police did not immediately respond to a request for additional information Sunday evening.
