Man Crawls Into Window, Hits Victim With Frying Pan In Oak Park

The suspect reportedly crawled in through the victim's bedroom window around 3:30 a.m.

OAK PARK, IL — An Oak Park resident received an unwelcome awakening when a man crawled into their bedroom window and struck them with a frying pan. Police say the home invasion took place in the 1100 block of South Taylor early Wednesday.

The victim told police that the an crawled in through their bedroom window at approximately 3:30 a.m. The man then went to the kitchen and grabbed a frying pan. Police say the suspect then hit the resident on the head with the frying pan, but did not cause any injuries.

The suspect reportedly fled the home and was last seen walking in n alley off of Roosevelt.
