Man Robs Fifth Third Bank In Melrose Park: FBI

Authorities are offering a $1,000 award for the arrest of a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank in Melrose Park Monday morning.

MELROSE PARK, IL — Federal authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a man accused of robbing a bank in Melrose Park Monday morning. According to a release from FBI Chicago, the robbery took place at approximately 9:10 a.m. at Fifth Third Bank at 2501 N. Ave. in Melrose Park.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s or 40s with a medium build, and standing approximately 5'10" tall, according to the FBI release. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket.

A maximum $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the offender's arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact FBI Chicago at 312-421-6700.
