Masked Men With Gun Rob Business, Employees In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are looking for two suspects who robbed an Oak Park business and its employees at gunpoint Monday. Police say the incident took place in the 6600 block of North Ave. at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The victims told police that a masked man and another man holding a black handgun entered the business and demanded that the employee sit at the front desk. The suspects rifled through the front desk and took $200 in cash.

After ransacking the desk, the suspects went to a break room in the back of the business. They struck an employee and stole a black MK wallet that contained various bank cards and $200 cash.

The first suspect was described as a black male standing roughly 5'7" tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a mask that covered his mouth. The victim(s) described the second offender as a 6' tall black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
