Masked Men With Guns Steal Car On Taylor In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL -- Police in Oak Park are investigating an incident in which a car was stolen at gunpoint by three masked men Sunday evening. The armed carjacking took place in the 1100 block of South Taylor, according to a police summary.

The victim told police that he was sitting in his parked car when three men in ski masks came up, two of whom were holding guns, and told him to get out of the car. They also demanded the victim's belongings, police say.

The suspects reportedly stole the victim's iPhone, wallet, and car before fleeing eastbound on Fillmore. The car was later located in Chicago in the 3300 block of Fluornoy but police say no arrests were made.
