McFun for Field-Stevenson & Betsy Ross McTeachers

Field-Stevenson and Betsy Ross schools hold a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Forest Park McDonald's on Des Plaines Avenue

On Tuesday, September 29th, Field-Stevenson and Betsy Ross held a McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the Forest Park McDonald’s on Des Plaines Avenue to raise money for the Southside PTO.  Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families.  The families all came to support their McTeacher’s Night and the event was a HUGE  singing success.  The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers making ice cream and shakes and best of all teachers singing for tips!  McPrincipal Milnamow was at the event the whole night selling pies to families and supporting all of the teachers.  Principal Dr. Brunson dressed up in a Pie box costume.  McTeacher Becker cleaned tables and emptied the garbage.  He took extra special care of his families.  A special appearance by Ed Brophy, Assistant Superintendent of Schools made the evening extra special.  A very special thank you to both Principals Milnamow and Brunson who worked hard organizing the entire event.  The school will put the money raised into the school fund for future programming.

McTeache’s Night was courtesy of the Forest Park McDonald’s owner/operator, Jan Nelson.  For more information about events provided by the Forest Park McDonald’s , contact their Community Relations Director at Julie.travers@Comcast.net.
