Medical Marijuana Dispensary Business License Approved for Oak Park

Plans to open a dispensary, named District 36, at North and Harlem avenues in Oak Park are taking shape.

Future Transactions Holdings, LLC, is just one of the many companies Gov. Bruce Rauner approved to operate marijuana dispensaries in Illinois, but it is the only company granted a license in Oak Park.

Brad Zerman is the owner of Future Transactions Holdings, LLC, and he has plans to open a dispensary, named District 36, at North and Harlem avenues in Oak Park, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Zerman told Reboot Illinois he’s ready to move forward as soon as the state officially awards him the license. He said the Oak Park dispensary will buy marijuana from “any or all” of the licensed cultivators for the medical program.
