Men Attack Victim, Steal His Shoes In Oak Park
Police say the man was hit and robbed while he was walking east on Washington.
OAK PARK, IL — A man was beaten and robbed by men who stole his Vans shoes while he was walking down a street in Oak Park Thursday. Police say three men approached him as he walked eastbound in the 1100 block of Washington around 9:15 p.m.
The victim told police that the suspects "struck him on the head several times." One of the suspects then removed the victim's black and white hightop Vans shoes and the suspects all fled in an unknown direction, police say.
