Mink Fur Coat Stolen At Church In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL — Police are investigating an incident in which a fur coat was stolen from a church in Oak Park Sunday. According to police, the theft took place at Grace Episcopal Church between 8 a.m. and 10:14 a.m.

The victim told police they left their black mink fur coat unattended. When they returned to retrieve the coat, they discovered it had been stolen.

The coat also contained house keys and a pair of leather gloves, police say. The total estimated loss was $3,040.
