Oak Park residents can check out the ZTE Warp Connect hotspot device at any of the service desks in the library. The fee to replace a device is $80.

The hotspots are part of the library's goal of "offering more ways for all Oak Parkers to get more from their public library services and resources," David J. Seleb, director of Oak Park Public Library, said in a statement.

Libraries in neighboring communities like Chicago and Forest Park currently offer hotspots for rental as well.
