"And the Murder Goes to..." Provides Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre with an Oscar Theme

Hollywood: Sometimes you win the big prize on Oscar night and sometimes your number is just up.

You are cordially invited to the most glamorous post-Oscar party in Hollywood. Mingle with all types of people in the entertainment business including the most recent Oscar winning actress and resident diva, an up-and-coming director, a maven of red carpet reporting, a hapless and harried personal assistant, a well respected but often ignored multiple winner of the Science and Technical Academy Award, his niece from Kansas with an extreme fascination of movies and absolutely no filter in her comments, and a surprise guest who shows up wearing...(well, you have to come to the show to find out). One of these characters will not survive the evening and another one of them will make sure of it!

Shakespeare on Clark at the Centre and WT Productions present And the Murder Goes to...

This upcoming interactive murder mystery dinner theatre production features Bill Boggs, Debbi Dennison, Galen Malick, Valerie Meachum, Lynn Meredith, Cheryl Rice, and Carl Zeitler.

And the Murder Goes to... is by Debbi Dennison & Carl Zeitler. Julane Sullivan directs the production, which will be held at Aliano's Ristorante at 90 N. Island Ave. in Batavia on Sunday April 30.

The production is $30 per person and includes appetizers, entrée, and dessert, as well as the performance. Free parking is available. Part of the ticket price will be donated to Shakespeare on Clark at the Centre's summer production of "Love's Labour's Lost." Guests are welcome, though not required, to dress up in the style of the show. Prizes will be available as part of the fun after the show ends.

The show begins with a social hour starting at 5 PM. The characters will mingle with the audience during this time and you may detect clues that could help you decide who the culprit will be. Cash bar service will be available during this time as well as during meal service. The actual performance will begin at 6 PM.

The menu's theme is "A Night at the Oscars."

Stuffed Mushrooms – "Alice in Wonderland" (Button mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage, herbs, and fresh cheeses topped with bread crumbs)

Calamari Diavolo – "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" (Fried calamari drizzled with a homemade diavolo sauce)

Entrées (choose one)

Salmone alla Aranacia – "Ocean’s Eleven" (Fresh Atlantic Salmon grilled to perfection topped with a blood orange balsamic reduction over homemade asparagus risotto)

Chicken Parmigianino – "The Godfather" (Homemade chicken parmesan with side of penne pasta topped with our homemade marinara sauce)

Mini Margherita Pizza – "Mystic Pizza" (Thin crust mini margherita pizza topped with fresh mozzarella cheese and basil)

Dessert (choose one)

Panna Cotta – "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (Homemade Italian custard topped with mixed berries)

Tiramisu – "Chocolat" (Homemade tiramisu drizzled with chocolate sauce)
