Our Neighborhood Toy Store Day fun includes...

The Hit Mit Challenge!

What’s a Hit Mit, you say? It’s a revolutionary table tennis game! Wear the Hit Mit over your hand like a glove -- giving you great ball control and fantastic response. Become one with the paddle and experience a whole new ball game. See how many times you can hit the ball with your paddle without letting it touch the ground! At the end of the day, the players with the highest scores in two age categories (8 & under and 9 & up) win a Hit Mit Set and a pack of balls!

Glitter Tattoos!
Come get a gorgeous glitter tattoo! The donation of $5 per tattoo will support Parenthesis’s annual Dream Maker’s benefit.

Photo Booth!
Our free photo booth will be up and running from 10 am to 4 pm. Why? For silly fun, of course! Choose from an array of props like hats, boas and masks to put on for a hilariously fabulous photo shoot! Or show off one a fantastic glitter tattoo!

Yo-Yo Demonstration!

The very talented Yo-Yo master Eric Tranton will be in from 1-4 pm to entertain you and teach you his tricks! With 8 years of experience under his belt, he has developed a very unique style of yo-yoing and has performed at amazing venues around Chicago!

Face Painting!
Free face painting from 10 am to noon!

Balloon Sculptures!
Enjoy balloon art free from 2 to 4 pm

Ornament decorating!
Help us make beautiful ornaments to decorate our Brookfield Zoo tree.

Hey Mom & Dad, did you think we forgot about you? We’ve got a special raffle just for you! We know every parent spends an enormous amount of time in the car: running errands, soccer games, dance lessons, school activities…and work, of course. It never seems to end!
