Comments Co-Artistic Director Andrew Hobgood, “Mr. Margaret Svetlove is a madman. End of story. This musical is one of the craziest projects ever pitched to The New Colony. I assume everyone on the planet will be at least a little offended by it but the music is so good I can’t stop listening to it. I hate to love this show and you should too.”

About the Playwright/Director:
Mr. Margaret Svetlove aka Sean Kelly is the Creative Director of The New Colony. He is a Chicago-born writer and director. He has directed at Porchlight Music Theatre, Victory Gardens, Collaboraction, The Old Town School of Folk Music and his home – The New Colony, among others. Of his work he says: I work in fabulous pseudonyms. I am more plagiarist than playwright. More curator than writer. I claim these stories are no more mine than anyone else’s. Whereas others borrow, I merely steal. I stole that too. It’s Stravinsky.
