"Nourish and Savor"

This event is the perfect kick-off for your family’s thanksgiving celebration. Presented by the Center for Serenity at the Eastgate Café, 102 Harrison St., Oak Park on Tuesday, November 19 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, it is a life learning workshop designed for all ages. After all, Thanksgiving is the ultimate American holiday celebrating the sharing of the harvest and the culinary efforts of our family. This mindful eating experience, will help you enjoy your thanksgiving feast – and every other meal – with more pleasure and healthful results than ever before.

Cooked to perfection, this healthful three-course meal will be served at a communal dinner where you’ll enjoy the company of others also seeking a more meaningful culinary experience.

Here’s the menu:

Savory Pork Tenderloin Medallions, set off by crispy pesto croutons and accompanied by fresh steamed green beans with tomatoes and creamy potato salad. Dessert is luscious Lemon Butter Coconut Bites. There's even a couple of special surprises to add to the fun!
