Oak Park Fire Department To Host Open House
Kids can touch fire trucks, meet firefighters, and learn all about fire safety.
OAK PARK, IL — Kids in Oak Park can see fire trucks up close and learn about fire safety at the Oak Park Fire Department open house on Oct. 13. At the event, which kicks off at 11 a.m., firefighters, police, and emergency responders will be on hand to give a tour of the firehouse and answer any questions residents have.
Both kids and grownups can watch fire crews give presentations about fire prevention, how fire trucks work, and how to stay safe if there's a fire in your home. Light refreshments will be served throughout the event.
