Oak Park Man Sex Trafficked 'Several Children': Authorities
Authorities say he was convicted of "facilitating the prostitution of" four young girls."
OAK PARK, IL --- An Oak Park man has been sentenced to 21 years in federal prison after he was convicted of sex trafficking and "facilitating the prostitution of" four young girls between 2014 and 2016. Allen Young, 53, also attempted to traffic a fifth young girl, authorities say.
Young reportedly posted online ads of the children "offering commercial sex" and "required" some of the minors to have sex with him, according to a news release. Authorities say Young drove the girls to meet people who responded to the ads. Afterwards, Young reportedly kept some of the money that had been paid.
In addition to his 21-year sentence, Young must pay $37,750 in restitution to his victims.
