OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park was recently named one of the best small towns to visit on a road trip across the U.S. The roundup, entitled 55 Small Towns To Visit on a Road Trip of America, was organized by Overstock Garage, Inc., and includes other notable small towns like Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Oak Park was the only Illinois town that made the list.

The article praised Oak Park for its "welcoming locals" and "eclectic dining scene," two things Oak Parkers can attest to. "...Oak Park effortlessly blends the liveliness of urban living and the cozy charm of suburbia," the article states.
