Oak Park River Forest High School Hosts 16th Annual Percy Julian Symposium
About 20 OPRF students presented their research.

Oak Park River Forest High School recently hosted the 16th Annual Percy Julian Symposium, a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) competition for Chicago-area students, with the top prize awarded to Marcelena Puc from Lane Tech High School.
Approximately 20 OPRF students presented their research, which included projects on marble sorters as a model for garbage separation, jet engine constructed models, and the lift of a star.
