Oak Park Seeks Volunteers for Boards and Commissions

The village is looking for resident volunteers to serve on advisory boards and commissions, according to the village.

A diverse group, some with knowledge of dentistry and fire protection, are needed to fill openings on the Board of Health, Building Codes Advisory Commission, Housing Programs Advisory Commission, Civic Information Systems Commission, Community Relations Commission and Public Art Advisory Commission.

Volunteers will conduct in-depth studies, evaluate research and hold meetings that create the public record critical to village board actions.
