If you're an Oak Park resident who owns a vehicle, it's time to renew your village vehicle sticker.
This week, the village began sending out renewal notices to the roughly 27,500 residents who bought stickers in 2010. Officials say every Oak Park resident who "owns or leases a vehicle is required to purchase and display a vehicle sticker annually by midnight, June 30."
If your vehicle is already registered with the village can renew online — and save 10 percent — here.

First-time sticker buyers will have to show up at , 123 Madison St. and bring proof of residency, like a lease, utility bill or other government-issued document, officials said.
Acting now will help avoid a $20 late fee. And failing to buy the sticker could get you (er, your car) slapped with a $50 ticket.
