Oak Park Winterfest, Cookie Walk To Bring Holiday Cheer
Nearly 4 dozen businesses will feature live international music and choral performances during Winterfest.

OAK PARK, IL — The stores of downtown Oak Park will be filled with live harp music, caroling, and storytelling during the village's annual Winterfest. The seasonal event is set for Saturday Dec. 2 and nearly four dozen downtown shops will be serving up entertainment, cheer, and (of course) cookies.
Strings of holiday bulbs will light the way as families set off down the streets of downtown Oak Park, popping in and out of small businesses to enjoy Indonesian music from Chicago Gamelan Gadhon, African storytelling by Alice Collins, holiday tunes from the Brooks Middle School Choral Program, and more.
The goal is obviously to celebrate the season, but also to collect a cookie or candy treat from each of the businesses participating in the Winterfest's Cookie Walk.
