Oak Park's Dr. Joshua Blomgren Named Team Physician For Chicago Fire
Dr. Blomgren has served as a team physician for the Chicago White Sox for the past several seasons and at DePaul University.

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush sports medicine physician Joshua Blomgren, MD, of Oak Park has been designated team physician for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. Dr. Blomgren is serving as the team’s Associate Medical Officer. He has been working closely with the club’s athletic training staff and NovaCare Rehabilitation, the official provider of physical therapy, athletic training services and rehabilitation services for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, since the start of the season.
Dr. Blomgren brings a wealth of experience to his role. He is on the staff roster for U.S. Soccer and recently returned from a tour in Spain with one of the national youth teams. He has elite-level sports experience as well. Dr. Blomgren has served as a team physician for the Chicago White Sox for the past several seasons and at DePaul University. He is also a team physician for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
The Chicago Fire Soccer Club was founded in 1997 and has played at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL since 2006. The 2015 season is in full swing and the schedule can be found here!
