Person Robbed At Knifepoint In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — A Berwyn resident was robbed at knifepoint in Oak Park in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon. Police say the incident took place around 1:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Oak Park Avenue.

According to police, the man approached the victim brandished a knife, and demanded their wallet. The victim then gave the wallet to the suspect, who fled.

The victim's wallet contained the victim's social security card, various credit and debit cards, and approximately $30 cash.
