Pet Pics With Santa At Animal Care League Holiday Bazaar

OAK PARK, IL — Anyone who has a pet knows that a picture with Santa Claus is a must during the holiday season, so why not have those images snapped at a benefit for homeless animals? The Oak Park Animal Care League's Holiday Bazaar kicked off Friday, Dec. 1 and offers festive fun, live music, and Santa pics through Sunday, Dec. 3 —and all for a good cause!

The annual event takes place at Animal Care League, 1003 Garfield, and proceeds go to benefit shelter pets who are awaiting their forever home.

Santa will be on hand Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. to pose with pets for photos that you can get in both print and digital form (be ready for those Facebook shares!) for a small donation.

Local musicians with set the mood with upbeat tunes and holiday music as pet owners nibble on baked goods and sip refreshments.

The Holiday Bazaar is also the perfect time to pick up stocking stuffers, cat toys, and rawhide bones to wrap for that good little dog or cat in your life. Be sure to buy these presents when you're animal isn't looking or it might ruin the surprise!
