Police Search for Burn Victim Who Possibly Set Body on Fire
A body "burned beyond recognition" was found Saturday in an Austin neighborhood alley.

CHICAGO, IL — Detectives are looking for an individual who might be seeking medical treatment for burns suffered while setting a body on fire, according to the Chicago Police Department.
On Saturday, Sept. 17, police found a body "burned beyond recognition," the statement said. The body was discovered at around 1:25 a.m. in an alley in the 5500 block of West Cortez Street in the Austin neighborhood, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Anyone with information should call investigators at the Area North Detective Bureau Violent Crimes Unit at 312-744-8261.
