Police Share Sketch Of Child Abduction Suspect In Oak Park
Police are asking the public to share this sketch to help find the man suspected of abducting a 13-year-old girl Monday.
OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police have shared a composite sketch of a suspect who grabbed a 13-year-old girl and tried to pull her into his truck Monday afternoon. Police released the sketch Thursday, along with new details that have emerged as the investigation continues.
During interviews with investigators, the victim reportedly told police the attack took place in the 400 block of Washington, not in the 600 block of Washington, as she had previously recalled. She also clarified that the suspect was driving a black Toyota, police say, not a red one.
The suspect is described as a black male, roughly 6' tall with light skin and green eyes. A Cook County sketch artist used the victim's description to create the composite sketch.
