Polish Film Festival: Blue at the Oak Park Arms
The Polish Film Festival continues with a view and review of Blue with Dan Kane at the Oak Park Arms retirement community.

The Polish Film Festival series continues with the film, “Blue” at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The film is the second of a trilogy and will be viewed and reviewed with radio announcer Dan Kane.
“Blue,” the 1993 French-Polish drama art film, is the first in The Three Colors Trilogy co-written, produced and directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski and based on the French Revolutionary ideals. It received universally positive reviews and went on to win Best Film at the Venice Film Festival and Best European Film at the Goya Awards, among others.
Starring Juliette Binoche and Julie Delpy, the film portrays tragedy and recovery in Paris in the 1990s with a focus on emotional liberty.
