River Forest Committee to Study Economic Development
Ad-hoc committee to work with Village of River Forest to consider ways to spur economic development.

An ad-hoc committee will work with the Village of River Forest to look at ways the village can spur economic development, the Wednesday Journal reported Tuesday.
The Village Board last week gave the nod for the formation of a committee, chaired by Trustee Susan Conti, which would include four residents. The board would formally approve the committee later this month, according to the Journal.
Village officials will need to specify the scope of members' duties to ensure the committee is working "in concert" with the Village Board's goals, according to a village staff memo.
