River Forest dentist to address Park Ridge Men's Prayer Breakfast

Dr. Patrick Angelo, Jr., DDS, MS has been dubbed "The Angel of Lower Wacker" by The Chicago Tribune for his work with the homeless.

Dubbed "The Angel of Lower Wacker" by The Chicago Tribune, Dr. Patrick Angelo, Jr., DDS, MS who practices Cosmetic Periodontics and Dental Implantology in River Forest will address the 55th annual Park Ridge Men's Prayer Breakfast at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 a.m. Dr. Angelo has been featured on the Steve Harvey Show, WGN-TV, CBS News, Windy City Live for his selfless and dedicated work to care for the homeless in and around Chicago. Streetwise magazine named him as one of the "20 Most Inspiring Chicagoans" in 2019.

Dr. Angelo received his Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate in Dental Surgery degrees from Loyola University, Chicago. He served as president of his class through all four years of dental school. While attending graduate school, Dr. Angelo was an associate professor in the diagnostic and periodontal treatment clinic at Loyola University College of Dental Surgery. He is well known nationally as a pioneer in dental laser surgery.

Life caught up with Dr. Angelo, and he realized he wanted to do something that would make a difference in the lives of others. Over the last 20 years … twice a week, most weeks … Dr. Angelo has driven to Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago to bring food, warm blankets, and clothing to the homeless. The very modest doctor says he does it to be a good person and a channel of God's many blessings.
