River Forest to Host Public Meeting on Flooding June 25
Residents can learn about the village's proposed plan to reduce flooding in the area Tuesday, June 25.

The Village of River Forest on Tuesday will host its second public meeting for residents to learn about the village's proposed plan to reduce flooding.
The village has been studying options to reduce flooding on the north side—Thatcher Avenue to Harlem Avenue and Division Avenue to North Boulevard.
A village consultant has recommended a project that create a new, separate storm water utility to significantly reduce flooding in the area, according to the Village of River Forest.

The first phase of the project would cost approximately $13 million and the second phase (if needed) would cost approximately $5 million, according to the village.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 at Roosevelt Middle School.
