'Unsettled' Stormy Weather Expected Throughout Week For Chicago Area
There is a threat of severe weather on Tuesday afternoon, and on Wednesday.
ILLINOIS — An "unsettled weather pattern" is expected across the Chicago area this week, including two days of possibly severe weather, the National Weather Service said.
The week will start off with a warm and dry Monday, with a high of 89 degrees. There is no threat of rain or storms during the day on Monday, but there is a small chance of storms late Monday night into Tuesday, the weather service said.

Temperatures will remain in the 80s all week, with a high of 88 on Tuesday, 82 on Wednesday, 84 on Thursday and 84 on Friday.

There is a threat for severe storms on Tuesday afternoon, and on Wednesday, the weather service said. Threats include wind gusts and very heavy rain.

Storms are possible between 2 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and during the daytime on Wednesday. The weather service said uncertainty still remains with storms, so stay up-to-date on weather forecasts.
There is also a slight chance of storms on Thursday and Friday. According to the weather service, there will still be lots of dry time between the chances of periodic storms.
