Sarah Rehmer is April Featured Artist in La Grange

“Remnant memories: New work by Sarah Rehmer” is the featured artist exhibit for April at the La Grange Art League. The show opens March 30 and runs through the end of April at the Gallery, 122 S. Calendar Avenue, La Grange. The theme of memory and memory loss fuels this exhibit which came about following Rehmer’s experience with the memory loss of her maternal grandmother. Rehmer questions what happens to memories when a person can no longer recall them.

Rehmer will be showing her recent sculptural paintings, altered photographs and the site-specific installation of her rejected stories project.
