School Districts 90, 97, and 200 Host a Tri-District Town Hall Forum

Providing Educational Equity and Building Inclusive School Communities

Creating inclusive school communities and educational equity often raise significant questions for families and students. What roles does equity and inclusiveness play in student achievement disparities? How are school districts designing inclusive school communities for students, families, and staff and faculties? What school district policies and practices are helping to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for students? What are the three school districts doing, collaboratively and individually, to promote educational equity for all students? These questions and others will be addressed at a Tri-District Town Hall Forum that will be held on Monday, May 1 starting at 7 p.m. at Roosevelt Middle School, 7560 Oak Avenue, River Forest, IL.

The topic for the Town Hall Forum is Educational Equity in Districts 90, 97, and 200. This Tri-District Town Hall Forum will feature representatives from the three school districts, including Dr. Ed Condon, Superintendent of District 90, Dr. Carol Kelly, Superintendent of District 97, and Dr. Joylynn Pruitt-Adams, Superintendent of District 200. The Forum's speakers will facilitate a conversation with the community on educational equity and inclusiveness efforts in the three school districts. There will be many opportunities for questions and answers from the audience. Hosted by all three Boards of Education, the Town Hall Forum will serve as a special Boards of Education meeting for Districts 90, 97, and 200.
