Shooting On I-290 Under Investigation: Police

OAK PARK, IL — State police were investigating a shooting Monday on Interstate 290 in Oak Park, according to authorities.

The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on the eastbound interstate at Austin Avenue, police said, adding no injuries were reported.

Eastbound expressway traffic was being diverted onto Harlem Avenue, but the roadway had reopened as of about 3:45 p.m., according to police.
