Shots Fired At Chicago Cops On Northwest Side

Three people are being questioned in connection to the shooting, police said.

CHICAGO — Shots were fired at Chicago police officers on the Northwest Side Thursday, police said. The officers were in the 2800 block of North Linder Avenue in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood at about 10:35 p.m., when they heard shots being fired in their direction.

A gray 2013 Honda Accord then took off northbound into a nearby alley, police said. The officers went after the car and pulled it over.

Three people who were inside the Honda were taken in for questioning.

No officers were injured in the shooting.

Area North detectives were investigating.
