Teen Robbers Hit Man On Head, Steal His Belongings In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL — Police in Oak Park are investigating a robbery in which two teens struck a man on the face and then stole his belongings. The robbery took place in the 300 block of S. Ridgeland Ave. on Monday just before midnight.

According to a police report, the victim was walking south near Ridgeland when two teens came up to him demanding that he hand over his personal belongings. Police say the victim gave his belongings to the teens.

The teens then struck the victim on the right side of his face and head before fleeing north on Ridgeland.
