Teresa Jensen, MD, Primary Care Physician Who Treats Children and Adults, Joins Loyola Medicine 

Teresa Jensen, MD, a primary care physician who treats both children and adults, has joined Loyola Medicine.

Teresa Jensen, MD, a primary care physician who treats both children and adults, has joined Loyola Medicine.

Dr. Jensen, trained in internal medicine and pediatrics, treats patients of all ages. Her clinical expertise includes family health care, preventative medicine and children and adults with special health needs.

Dr. Jensen will see patients at the Loyola Center for Health at Gottlieb in Melrose Park.

Dr. Jensen said understanding family dynamics is important in providing preventative care to children and adults.

“Preventative care is a huge part of what I have been enjoying as a physician,” Dr. Jensen said. “Being able to do preventative care in children as well as being able to teach adults about the human body and their medications is why I love treating whole families.”

Dr. Jensen is an assistant professor in the departments of medicine and pediatrics of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.

Dr. Jensen earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, St. Francis Medical Center.
