The Oak Park Farmers' Market Lineup is Here!

We’re excited. You’re excited. Let’s get right to it.

First, the Oak Park Farmers’ Market opens at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 19 in the parking lot of , 460 Lake St. The seasonal market runs every Saturday through October in the same location, closing at 1 p.m. Most vendors take credit, debit and LINK cards.

A few special events are planned on select days throughout the season, including eco-friendly “Go Green Days” on May 19 and May 26. The annual corn roast takes place Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Stone Soup, which marks the last market of the season, takes places 9-10 a.m. on Oct. 27.

Farmers Market commission chair Melissa Wittenberg said a variety of items to support the market adminstration will be sold at the market’s information tent, including reusable shopping bags, and nonprofit bake sales will be offered each Saturday.

There will also be the occasional cooking demonstrationsfrom local chefs.
