Thieves Steal 15 Rental Cars From Hertz In Oak Park: Police
The suspects broke a glass door, then forced open a box that contained keys to the 15 cars.

OAK PARK, IL — Police say 15 cars were stolen from a Hertz Rent-A-Car location in Oak Park overnight Wednesday. The suspects apparently broke a glass door to gain entrance to the store at 629 Madison and then forced open a security box that held the car keys, according to police.
Police say the suspects then cut a lock on the rear entrance and drove the cars out of the lot.
An employee came in at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday and noticed that the door had been broken. When she reported the break-in and theft, she told police the store closed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
