Thirsty on Thursday? Try the Battle of the Brews
Home brewers will set 'em up, guests will knock 'em down and the proceeds are headed to the Oak Park-River Forest Food Pantry.

Tickets are still available for the Battle of the Brews, where ten amateur beer brewers will compete for awards.
The event takes place 7-10 p.m. Thursday at 811 South Blvd. in Oak Park. For $25 guests can sample the brews as well as food from And you'll get a commemorative stein.

Guests and judges will each get to select the best brews of the bunch, and the winners will receive a $100 gift certificate to Kinderhook.
