Thousands In Electronics Stolen From Oak Park Home: Cops
Police say they entered the home using a pry tool and brute force.
OAK PARK, IL — Thousands of dollars in camera equipment and electronics items were stolen from an Oak Park home Monday after the suspect or suspects pried open a door to break into the residence. The victim, who lives in the 300 block of Washington, told police the break-in took place sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:55 p.m.
Police say the burglar(s) stole the following items from the home:
- Canon 6D camera
- Five camera lenses
- Two Apple computers
- Hot pink Puma bag
- Pocket knife
- Cash
The total loss was estimated at $8,905. Anyone who has information on this burglary is encouraged to contact Oak Park police at 708-434-1636.
