Town Hall Forum on Student Achievement and Assessments
Come and Hear How District 90 Students Performed on PARCC Assessments
You’re invited to attend a Town Hall Forum hosted by District 90! The Forum will be held on Tuesday, November 7 in the Roosevelt Middle School Auditorium, and will start at 7 p.m. The topic for the Forum is Student Achievement and Standardized Assessment in District 90.
Dr. Alison Hawley, Director of Curriculum and Instruction will provide information about how students in District 90 performed on recent standardized assessments, with attention given to areas of relative strength and opportunities for growth. Additional topics will include:
- the different types of assessments used in the District,
- how assessments support classroom instruction
- the relationship between student assessment and student achievement
Hosted by Board of Education President Ralph Martire and Superintendent Ed Condon, the Town Hall Forum will serve as the normally- scheduled Committee of the Whole meeting for the month of November.
