The WeatherTech® 25th Annual Berwyn Rt66 Car Show sponsored by Paisans Pizzeria & Bar will be held on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn.
On Aug 29, visitors can soak up the classic car culture of Historic Route 66 with a stroll through over 550 vintage and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. Demonstrations of Automobile Flamethrowing by Roamin’ Chariots Car Club and a Cacklefest with nitro fueled funny cars and dragsters. Don’t try this at home!
The event also features live music including:
- The Rhythm Rockets will perform old school Jump, Jazz, Swing, Rhythm & Blues
- Wireless Soul will perform high energy, Popular Rock music. There will be a Wireless Soul Official Dean Guitar Giveaway at the conclusion of the performance at 2:00 p.m.
- Erik Lauren and the Blue Blood Sinners will play Blues, Country, Southern, and Classic Rock covers and original songs.
- Rick “Elvis” Saucedo will perform an Elvis musical showcase.
- Tony Pellegrino will perform a Frank Sinatra showcase of classic pop and standards.
Legendary WLS DJ & Radio Hall of Famer Dick Biondi will sign autographs and award trophies from Noon - 4:00 pm. There will also be a guest appearance from NBC’s meteorologist and Chicago personality Andy Avalos. Spectator admission is free so bring the whole family! For those seeking an early peek, vehicles start their procession to their parking spots around 7:00 am. The event officially runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sat, Aug 29.

For those interested in displaying their vehicles, online registration is available at WhyBerwyn.com/event/berwyn-route-66-car-show and Facebook @BerwynRt66CarShow. Registered participants receive a t-shirt, dash plaque and goodie bag with completed registration. “Fun” awards are also doled out in a wide variety of categories with names including “B-B-B-Bad to the Bone,” “Hog Heaven,” “Impressive Import,” “Hot Hauler,” “Pleasantly Preserved,” and “Slo & Lo” to name a few.
