Usher in the New Year by Participating in Winter-Themed Nature Activities with the Forest Preserves of Cook County

Looking to start off the 2015 year with exciting winter activities? Would you like to experience what nature has to offer in the winter time? The Forest Preserves of Cook County has just the thing!

Saturday, January 10th, 2015 - Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Thatcher Woods Pavilion, 8030 Chicago Avenue, River Forest

Youth and families, join us for winter adventure and fun with activities like snowshoeing or nature hikes (depending on snow conditions), winter adaptation of local animals, bird feeders, climate patterns, winter-based shelter building, campfires and natural material sled-building. Come for the day or just an hour!
