Woman Carjacked By Armed Men Wearing Ski Masks, Latex Gloves

OAK PARK, IL — A woman was carjacked at gunpoint in a BP gas station parking lot in Oak Park Wednesday. Police say the men were wearing ski masks and latex gloves when they threatened the woman in the 300 block of Lake shortly after 9 p.m.

The victim told police two men approached her and one masked offender, who was holding a semi-automatic handgun, demand that she give up her property. She then dropped her keys and a second suspect, also wearing a ski mask, picked up the keys and got into the driver's side of her gray 2014 Toyota RAV 4.

The armed offender then got into the passenger seat of the vehicle and both men fled eastbound on Lake.

The first offender is described as a male standing between 5'10" and 6' tall. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a dark green jacket, black jeans, black and white shoes, and blue latex gloves. The vicim described the second suspect as a male with a thin build, standing between 5'10" and 6' tall. He was last seen wearing a ski mask, a black jacket, black jeans, black shoes, white socks, and light blue latex gloves.
