Woman Strikes Victim, Breaks Phone In Nail Salon In Oak Park

The suspect also damaged a phone and a credit card machine, police say.

OAK PARK, IL -- A Burbank resident was injured Sunday after a woman hit them in the face during an altercation at a nail salon in Oak Park. Police say the suspect walked into Happy Nails in the 400 block of Chicago Ave. at around 5:30 p.m. when the conflict began.

According to police, the female suspect "struck the victim in the face" and damaged the business's phone and credit card reader. The suspect then left the store, got into a white Nissan Altima, and fled, police say.
