• Illinois American Water customers can speak out against proposed rate hike at Bolingbrook hearing Wednesday (shawlocal.com) — Orland Hills residents who get water from Illinois American Water could see their monthly bills rise by about $10 for water and $23 for wastewater under a proposed $129 million rate hike. The Illinois Commerce Commission will take public comments at a Bolingbrook hearing on Sept. 16, and locals can also submit feedback online or by phone before regulators rule later this year.
