1 Dead after Shots Fired on Chicago Skyway

CHICAGO, IL — One person is reported dead after a shooting Wednesday on the Chicago Skyway, ABC7 is reporting.

A 25-year-old male was killed when shot. A 23-year-old female was shot in the arm and transported in serious condition to a local hospital, police told ABC-7.

Two people were shot, one killed, on the Chicago Skyway bridge, police said. All eastbound lanes are shut down, one westbound lane is open as of just after 2 p.m.

The shots were reportedly fired from inside a black, four-door SUV that was last seen heading into Indiana.
